Drury Senior Allyson Strickland wins national debate tournament

Drury students perform 7th annual “Vagina Monologues”
For the seventh consecutive year, Drury University students will perform Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues from Feb. 23-25 at 8 p.m. The performances will take place in the Findlay Student Center Ballroom at Drury University. The public is welcome to attend. Tickets cost $5. Proceeds from the event will benefit Springfield’s Harmony House. Continue reading
Drury senior earns an internship at the Kennedy Center
Drury senior Jonathan Thomas will spend the spring as an intern at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. Thomas will intern for the DeVos Institute of Arts Management at the Kennedy Center. Thomas is one of 24 interns who were selected for the program. Continue reading
Drury students spend the summer in Africa as part of their faith
All Drury students get a global education. In fact, all students earn a minor in global studies. Over the summer, three Drury students actually lived globally. A college student studying water biology in the Ozarks will spend a lot of time examining water quality, fish habitats and hellbender salamanders; but Drury senior biology major Angela Ostendorf is interested in whales, manatees and dolphins, and she’s gone out of her way to get that education while attending Drury. Drury senior earns fellowship to Washington University worth more than $20,000 per year
