Drury’s Pool Art Center to showcase the work of a ceramic artist
Drury’s Pool Art Center Gallery will feature the works of Amanda Small in a solo exhibit titled (Some)Where We Meet in March. The exhibit opens Friday evening, March 2 from 6-9 p.m. with an artist talk scheduled from 6-7 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through Friday, March 30. Continue reading

Kappa Delta Sorority Hosts Shamrockin’ the Roads for Child Abuse Prevention
Kappa Delta Sorority at Drury University will host Shamrockin’ the Roads, a charity run/walk, on Saturday, March 10 at 8 a.m. at Drury. The event will benefit Isabel’s House and Prevent Child Abuse America. Shamrockin’ the Roads is open to runners and walkers of all abilities and includes a 5K run/walk, a 10K run and a one-mile kids’ fun run. All of the runs will begin at the Fountain Circle at the north end of Drury Lane. Continue reading

Drury students perform 7th annual “Vagina Monologues”
For the seventh consecutive year, Drury University students will perform Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues from Feb. 23-25 at 8 p.m. The performances will take place in the Findlay Student Center Ballroom at Drury University. The public is welcome to attend. Tickets cost $5. Proceeds from the event will benefit Springfield’s Harmony House. Continue reading
