Drury recognized as a top producer of Fulbright Scholars
Drury University was recognized in the Oct. 24 edition of The Chronicle of Higher Education as one of the “top producers of Fulbright scholars.” Drury was tied for second with three Fulbright scholars on the list of Master’s Universities. Disabled veterans get free photos from Drury students
The Department of Art & Art History and Photography Studies are providing free family portraits for Disabled American Veterans around the area. The sessions are available to the first 50 families that make a reservation. Rebecca Miller, Associate Professor and Photography Program Coordinator, organized the event and her students provide the photography skills. Continue reading
Drury plans to add on-campus housing for more than 70 students
Drury University is pleased that the Springfield City Council voted to re-zone Drury’s property at the corner of North Summit Avenue and East Webster Street, and that it adopted the redevelopment plan for that property. With those decisions by Springfield’s City Council, Drury plans to move forward with a new student housing development. Groundbreaking is scheduled for December with a targeted completion by fall 2012. Continue reading
