Jacques Cousteau’s grandson to speak at Drury on Thursday, Sept. 8
Wearing his ubiquitous red stocking cap on board his famous ship Calypso, Jacques Cousteau was well known to generations around the world as an ocean explorer, inventor, filmmaker and environmentalist. Today, Cousteau’s grandson Fabien carries on his grandfather’s legacy as an ocean explorer and advocate for marine ecosystems. Drury University recognized outstanding faculty members at the 2011-2012 Matriculation Convocation on Thursday, Aug. 25. A student and faculty committee selected recipients of these awards. The committee receives nominations from students, faculty, administrators and alumni. Drury has its second highest opening day enrollment of all-time
