Drury commemorates Banned Books Week with a public reading
Drury University will observe The American Library Association’s Banned Books Week on Friday, Oct. 1. Students and faculty will read selections from many previously banned books on the steps of Olin Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and the public is invited to attend and listen. Drury University has a record enrollment of 5,625 students for fall semester 2010 following the census of the school’s multiple campuses and online programs. This figure includes adult evening and online programs, graduate classes and the traditional Day School. Continue reading
Drury to offer a one-year Master of Arts in Communication degree
Drury University is launching an accelerated Master of Arts in Communication degree program. Students accepted into this competitive, ten-person cohort will be able to complete the entire master’s degree between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012, spanning summer, fall, and spring semesters during the calendar year.
